FROM MIKE FLOWERS POPS TO "AN EVENING WITH THE EMPORER OF EASY"
The Kitsch Lounge Riot story has experienced a meteoric rise to one of the country's hottest club nights.
The event first started in a gay sauna venue and has escalated to the peek of the London social scene now residing at The Pigalle, with its founders now revelling in it's success as it is billed "best night out" by Leading Media.
Founded by the young team of Event Producer: Johnny Barran, Publisher: Jamie Hinchliffe and Sony/BMG artist: Oliver Darley, KLR is “The contemporary late night lounge music club" at the cutting edge of the UK club scene. The night was born out of an inspired move by the team who, aside from blossoming careers in broadcasting, publishing Event production and music, chose to dedicate their time to its success. Steeped in history and soaked in champagne, KLR is a night where you can sit back relax and watch some of the Worlds finest music talent performing at touching distance.
Starting out as a series of successful parties called 'Forbidden Jacuzzi' in the Covent Garden Health Spa, the event soon outgrew the suitably kitsch venue and moved to the Eve Club where we had the legendary Mike Flowers, surrounded by scantily clad dancing girls followed by tuxedo clad crooners singing from backing tracks. All mixed in with an appreciative audience dressed in smokers and chokers.
